The Canadian Armed Forces Music Branch supports all elements of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF). Our musicians can be seen in Navy, Army or Air Force dress. In keeping with the rich heritage of Canadian military music, we play from both the brass/reed and pipes & drums disciplines. We have:
15 voluntary bands
6 full-time regular force bands
53 part-time reserve force bands
Role of the Music Branch
The role of the CAF Music Branch is to provide quality music to:
support CAF operations, foster morale and esprit de corps,
promote DND and Canadian aesthetics and values both nationally and abroad
The Music Branch also promotes the Canadian Armed Forces as a career choice for Canadian musicians.urrently awaiting it's turn for Construction
