The Tradition of Friendship Will Continue
The annual International Armed Forces Night (IAFN) Dining-Out will continue. Meeting consistently for sixty-years, since 1960, the May 2020 and 2021 IAFN Dinners were cancelled by the IAFN Council due to restrictions imposed by both the Canadian and United States governments to combat the Covid-19 Pandemic in March 2020. We expect these restictions to relax and are happy to announce that the IAFN dining out for 2022 will take place 6 May 2022 at the American Polish Cultural Center in Troy Michigan.
In recent months, the U.S. and Canadian officers, who comprise the IAFN Council, have continued virtual meetings to plan the event, and are unanimous in their determination to continue this long-standing traditional military event.
In planning for the next event, the safety and health of our retired and active military officers, their families, and guests is of primary importance. We will work closely with the vendors to ensure that all health and safety requirements are in place and followed.
The Council regrets the delay and hopes to see you at the 2022 International Armed Forces Dining-Out. We encourage you to remain in touch with your military friends and to follow governmental guidelines regarding facemasks and social distancing. Check our Website, www.IAFNC.org, for updates.
